Picture yourself alone in your room on a cold, wintery night. You can hear your family talking in the lounge room and through your phone access to talking to your friends to at your fingertips, but you feel so distant from anyone that you don’t even realize how easy it is to contact people. You may be in the comfort of your own home, but because of what is going on in your life you feel more like a million miles away from home. You feel lost, unsure of who to turn to, not knowing who is out there that can listen to you.

But more than just not knowing whom to turn to, mustering the courage to talk is also a hurdle most people struggle to leap over. Being able to take that leap of faith and generate enough confidence is also a massive issue for most young people. What we at CVNU want to achieve is to become a face for people to talk to when they have issues they struggle to deal with, to become a source of advice for people who aren’t sure what to do, and to become a helping hand to guide these people on their way as they continue on their own magical individual journey that is life.
