It’s very difficult in our busy everyday lives to stop, look around, and think about what we have and to be thankful for it. Very rarely do we look around to consume with our eyes not one thing, but everything as a whole. How often do you stop to take in the stunning view of the luscious green grass, the tall, bold trees, the clear blue sky, or that bright pink flower that you never noticed on the side of the pathway because you never went out of your way to look outside the direct line of your normal, everyday path? Our sight is something that we so easily take for granted far too often, and we tend to forget just how beautiful a gift our sight really is.

It’s important that we make the most of our sight and that we take advantage of what a wonderful sense it is that we have, because it can so quickly be taken away from us. One of the main reasons our sight can be taken away from us is due to cataract, a clouding of the lens in the eye. It’s terribly unfortunate for someone to lose their sight before their time is up, and at CVNU we hope to do everything we can to contribute to the eradication of blindness to those who deserves to see more in life. To the younger people who have yet to see anything and the older people who may be the main provider in their family, hope is restored.

With your generous donations, people who otherwise could go blind because they cannot afford an operation will now be able to undergo the surgery.
